In log skidding, the West Snyder Team tied for first place, won a second, and tied for third. In the log rolling contest, 1:00 P.M Larson Herman and Randy Troxell won a first place. The West Snyder FFA won a first place ribbon and a third place ribbon for the small exhibit booth display. In the two-year-old, never fresh class, Jackie Beaver won a first place. Lisa and Annette Shirey won a number of premiums for their dairy animals. Lisa won a first place in the Dry Cow, Three to Four Year Old class; a second place in the two year old class; a third place in the Best Udder Class; a first place m the Get of Sire Class; a first in Best of Three Females Class; and a first place in the Dairy Herd Class. Annette won a first place in the Dry Cow- Aged Class; a first place in the 3 Year Old Class; a first place in the Best Udder Class; a first place in the Produce of Dam Class; and a first place in the Daughter- Dam Class.
