Paul, Holtwood Rl, says it isn’t the first time he has had champion of the show, but it’s the first in a while since he didn’t even have tune to show last year. Jere Shertzer, Lancaster R 6, owned the junior yearling which was named junior champion and reserve grand champion. Shertzer just happens to be the grandson of Herr, so the championship honors stayed in one family. Shertzer’s junior yearling is a Generator granddaughter and is his 4-H project animal. She was named champion of the 4-H show.
