4-H livestock sale held at Clinton Fair LOCK HAVEN - Twenty seven animals, including 16 hogs, 6 lambs, and five steers brought a total of $9,789.44 at the 4-H Livestock Auction held at the Clinton County Fan- and 4-H Round up on Sept. 4. Thirteen Clinton County 4- H members participated in the sale at the Fairgrounds. William B. Tressler, Mill Hall R 3, served as auc tioneer. Greg Connor, Mill Hall Rl, showed the Grand Champion steer which was sold to Albright’s Feed Mill, Mill Hall Rl for $l.OO per pound. The animal was a 1259 pound Charolais. The Reserve Grand Champion steer owned by Wade Vonada, Mackeyville, brought the highest price for the sale of a steer at the fair. Jn the market swine division, the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion hogs were shown by Lyndon Yeanck, Mill Hall R 2. Both were purchased by the Kermit Yearick Insurance Agency, Mill Hall. The champion weighed 244 pounds and brought $1.60 per pound and the reserve champion weighed 240 pounds and sold at $1.50 per pound.
