Cool the mix ture. Add other ingredients to the sugar mixture and mix well. Freeze. When ready for use, add 4 to 5 quarts of gmgerale of 7- up. 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup water 1 can orange juice 1 can pineapple juice Heat water and dissolve sugar in water. Add other ingredients and mix well. Freeze. M QUICK ROOT BEER 2 cups granulated sugar 1 gallon lukewarm water 4 teaspoons root beer extract 1 teaspoon dry yeast Heat some of the water to tne boiling point to dissolve sugar. Cool slightly. Pour into gallon jug. Add the remainder of lukewarm water, yeast and ex tract. Lay jug in the sun for four hours Chill before ser ving. This drink is ready to serve the next day, there is no need to bottle. 3 lemons 1 orange 2 quarts water 1 cup granulated sugar Cut fruit in half and extract the juice of all fruit. Cool the syrup and pour over ice To make a strong tea infusion add the 3 teaspoons of tea to the 1% cups hot water. Add the fruit juices, tea, and salt and mix well. LEMONADE FRUIT PUNCH Tea Base SPICED PUNCH Vh cups granulated sugar 2 cups water 1 teaspoon whole cloves 1 stick cinnamon 1 quart orange juice 2 cups lemon juice 2 cups grapefruit juice 2 cups pineapple juice Simmer sugar, water, and spices for ten minutes. Hostetler, Age 14, Turbotville, Pa EGG NOG MILK SHAKE 6 eggs, separated 3 <cup granulated sugar 2 quarts milk Vacup rum or IVatablespoons rum flavoring 1 teaspoon vanilla extract % teaspoon salt Combine egg yolks and V* cup sugar, mix until thick and lemon colored. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add Vz cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold egg yolk mixture into egg whites. Stir in milk, rum, vanilla, and salt. Chill.
