Last year’s champion title went to Tim’s younger brother Scott. This year’s champion, a 235 pound gilt was a three way cross that sold later in the day for $2.35 per pound. Buying the champion was Hatfield Packing Hatfield, for a amounting to $552.25. Reserve Grand Champion went to Marjone Faust, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Faust of R 1 Kemp ton. Both exhibitors have only shown hogs at this event for two years. Tun, however has shown in 4-H for six or seven years, and has served as president of the Chester County 4-H Swine Club last year. This year he will be a senior at Twin Valley High School and is the Treasurer Co., total of his FFA chapter. Presently he works on a dairy farm where most of his duties involve field work.
