Fed cattle prices came under continued severe downward pressure in reflection of a chronically depressed, carcass trade. Yield grade was an all important price-determining factor, with demand strongly centered on con signments including a minimal number of yield grade 4’s. Most buying in terests were not particularly aggressive for numbers in view of the slow movement of the finished product.
