Cumberland Co. lasses to vie for dairy princess
CARLISLE - On June 20,
1979, six area girls will vie
for the title of Cumberland
County Dairy Princess. The
contest will be sponsored by
Cumberland County Holstein
Club and is set for 8 p.m. at
Cumberland Valley High
School’s auditorium
Kathy Strock, the 1978
Cumberland County Dairy
Princess, will crown her
successor from among the
following contestants:
Wendy Mams, 18, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G.
Mams, Newville Rl; Debra
Stambaugh, 18, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George
Stambaugh, Newville R 4;
Ann Basehore, 16, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Donald

Wendy recently graduated
from Big Spring High School
where she was a member of

Dairy 4-H Clubs. She will
attend Harrisburg Area
Community College

education. Debra is a 1978
graduate of Big Spring High
School where she was active
m the band. She is presently
attending Delaware Valley

group, has been elected vice
chairman of the board of
trustees of the National 4-H
Council
