Roberts FFA Chapter recently held their 24th annual banquet, recognizing chapter members and faculty alike for their ac complishments and service. A very special award was presented to agricultural teacher and FFA advisor Neal R. Burtner from the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Burtner has taught agriculture for the past 35 years. He will retire in June. His award read in part ... ‘Neal Burtner has influenced the lives of hundreds of boys and girls through bis great un derstanding and ap preciation of the needs of Ids students. Chapter members also awarded Burtner with the Honorary Chapter Degree. Charles Lobb, guidance superintendent of the four OJR. districts was also awarded the Honorary Chapter Degree. Lobb has helped with the Chester- Delaware FFA leadership school, and with the coun celing and scheduling of the „ gtndpnfg state competition.
