Lebanon Fair Grounds,
Lebanon, Pa., by Edward H.
Oswald, R.D.2, Slatington.
The top priced bred Gilt
sold for $400; the top priced
Boar sold for $440 and the top
priced open Gilt went for
$135. There were 60 head
sold.
Ralph W. Zettlemoyer was
the auctioneer.
A Public Auction of
valuable antiques was held
December 16 by Fred S.
Oberholser, 1 mile west of
Wagontown, Pa. on Route
340.

approximately 5 miles from

The farm was sold for
$204,000 to Aaron Zim
merman, R.D.4, Lititz, Pa. It

Chenango County farmer consisting of 14 fresh cows, 12
handling or bagging close, 8 due in February, some
recently bred back for next fall freshening, balance in
various stages of lactation. This is a good, year around
dairy.
Another selection of top registered cattle includes a
daughter of Ridge Regal Improver due by sale date: a
C Hanover Hill C R Lucky bom 1/2/77, due to calve
12/28/78; a Royal Reflection Shamrock calved 11/29/78
and currently milking 86#; a Woodbine Pearl Comet
daughter bom 9/17/75, fresh 12/10/78 and already
milking over 80#; a Tayside Pabst Rockman bom
3/22/73, bred 8/16/78 to Sterk Millie Astro - Twin; a
Simpson’s Apostle bom 10/19/76, calved 12/11/78 and a
Rose-E-Vue Rockman Count bom 5/10/76, due to calve
1/79 plus three registered service bulls and other
registered cattle also included in this sale.
