Oswald, R.D.2, Slatington. The top priced bred Gilt sold for $400; the top priced Boar sold for $440 and the top priced open Gilt went for $135. There were 60 head sold. Ralph W. Zettlemoyer was the auctioneer. A Public Auction of valuable antiques was held December 16 by Fred S. Oberholser, 1 mile west of Wagontown, Pa. on Route 340. Some prices received were: Dry Sink $495, Loveseat $lO5, Corner Cupboard $875, Organ $ll5, Stove $75, Indian Picture $35, Accordian $B5, Pair of Cancfleholders $26, Carnival Dish $3l, Wooden Rake $l5 and Log Chain $l6. Auctioneers were Ira & Dale Stoltzfus and Jay Leary. A Public Auction of a 126 acre dairy farm was held December 14 by Paul Z. and Madeline M. Burkholder, approximately 5 miles from Strausstown, Berks Co., Pa. The farm was sold for $204,000 to Aaron Zim merman, R.D.4, Lititz, Pa.
