Shine reported that Sep tember producer milk receipts totaled 428.3 million pounds, a drop of 0.5 per cent from the previous month, on a daily average basis. The total number of producers reported was 7,424, an in crease of 105 from August. The average daily delivery per producer was 1,923 pounds, down from 1,960 in August and below the 1,925 average of a year ago. Class I producer milk accounted for 56.59 per cent of total September producer deliveries compared to 51.37 per cent in August and 61.10 per cent last September.
