Geib, Manheim R 4, the animal brought a price of $1.02 per pound, a total of $1,307.90. Barry’s brother, Earl Geib, sold the reserve champion steer, which borught 71 cents per pound. It was purchased by' the Steigel Builders. The remaining eight steers sold brought a total price of $6,106.38. Also sold at the auction was a sheet cake,made and donated by Doris Ritter to commemorate the 25 th anniversary of the farm show. It sold for $32.50 and was bought by the Pennway Construction company of Manheim. Proceeds of the cake sale also went to the Farm Show Committee.
