MANHEIM - Sarah BrubakeT, 16, Blu-Acre Farm, Lancaster exhibited the Overall Grand Champion Lamb of the show and sale, October 10 at the Manheim Community Farm Show. Her 103 pound Hampshire entry was also named grand champion market lamb of open show and champion sale lamb. Sarah, 'the daughter* of Clyde and Dorothy Brubaker, is a member of the Red Rose Beef and Sheep 4-H Club. Gerald Rohrer, 12, for the second year straight, won the junior fitting and showmanship contest. Gerald is the son fo Bob and Anne Rohrer, Quarryville Rl. He exhibited champion and reserve Southdown rams, along with the first place yearling Southdown ewe. Jim Stauffer, 15, took the champion fitting and showmanship honors in the senior division. He also exhibited the first place Suffolk yearling ewe. Jim, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stauffer, Lancaster, raises his own Suffolk flock at home and has been a member of the Red Rose 4-H Club for two years.
