CATTLE - Compared with
the previous week’s close -
closed firm to 25 cents
higher. Cows were firm to
mostly 50 cents higher and
bulls firm to 1.00 higher.
Four day receipts 14,300 as
compared 12,700 previous
week and 13,900 a year ago.
The fed cattle trade followed
much the same pattern as
the previous week. Prices
declined slightly on the
opening session in view of a
rather sluggish carcass
trade, and most buying
interests were rather
cautious and selective. Later
trading was fairly active,
