52—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, July 29,1978 Gollee, I thought to myself, how do I get into these things It had sounded so easy when I got the idea of doing a feature on a family involved with rodeo 1 know horses and have been to rodeos, the story should have been a snap I forgot about the taking pictures There is a big difference between being outside an arena watching the action and standing inside on foot, trying to snap pictures You see, it takes me about five minutes to get the camera lined up, focused, aimed, and the picture taken By then the rodeo action has come, gone, and come again I've got to admit those cowboys helped though They figured out where the action would be, drew an “X" in the dust, and told me to stand right there It was the best spot in the house, also the most dangerous Then the calf came out of the chute, with the mounted cowboy hot on his trail Heart in mouth, I watched them stampede towards me I couldn’t watch As they thundered towards me, I turned cold I closed my eyes and blindly snapped when told to “Rats 1 ” the guy muttered Opening my eyes I saw a frustrated cowboy with a long, empty rope He had missed the calf Smiling, he retired to the chute to try again We had to go through the whole scary process again Gollee, 1 thought to myself, how do I get into these things Stormor EZEE-DRY Dries up to keep drying costs down • Stor: to 1 No other gram drying system can match Stormor s paten'ed overhead drying floor for efficiency It uses all available heat to dry your gram And that keeps drying costs down It s easy to save time energy and money with Stormor See us today and we II give you all the facts' <XomjcAa, GRAIN EQUIPMENT INC Box 216 RD 12, York PA 17406 NEW #-(717) 755-2868 7f to Last Longer HsS*BSi^®^l®l®lS6pKBS9@wret^l Farm Women Societies (Continued from Page 50) 255 Marietta Avenue, Mount Joy.
