Layser was recently honored by The Upjohn Company for outstanding achievement in sales for 1977. He is one of 17 sales representatives from the company’s Agricultural Division to be named to the Academy of Upjohn Salesmen. Layser joined Asgrow Seed Company, an Upjohn subsidiary, in 1966, and is now responsible for agronomic seed sales m Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. Layser holds a B.S. degree m economics from Lebanon Valley College, located in his hometown of Lebanon. Each of the winning salesmen received a cash award during a recognition conference at Brook Lodge, Upjohn’s guest facility near Kalamazoo, Mich. The salesmen’s wives ac companied their husbands to the four-day conference. Layser resides at Mechamcsburg with his wife, Mane, and their two sons. ) have a nice weekend..
