Along with the tour of the Center, the group was scheduled to tour Mount Vernon and the National Rifle Association in Washington, D.C. To publicize the op portunities available through the organization, the chapter members submitted articles to local newspapers. In these stones, they ex plained what the organization is all about and some of the activities which can be done through it. In their high school, the members constructed bulletin board displays, and put posters up in the office. To do themselves a favor, they purchased the 50th anniversary flag for the chapter to enjoy in the present and the future. 31
