Breckbill, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Breckbill, Oxford, is quick to give the FFA a lot of credit for having been instrumental in broadening his interest in farming. Although he has always been interested in agriculture, he says it wasn’t until he joined the FFA program at Oxford High School that he became aware of the different aspects and details of modem agriculture. He has participated in public speaking contests, made new friends at meetings and contests, including State FFA “Days, held each Summer at Penn State Universityf The FFA has helped in showing cattle, says Breckbill, who has won a number of ribbons in both 4- H and FFA contests. He’s been to the Pennsylvania Junior All-American in Harrisburg on several oc casions.
