—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, February 4,1978 120 Governor’s HARRISBURG Andrew J. Watson, 65, of West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, has announced his candidacy for the Republican gubernatorial nomination. Watson, a Harrisburg businessman, is a lifelong conservative Republican and was one of the principal organizers of the Constitutional Party which became ballot Boat registries due HARRISBURG - Rep. Noah Wenger, R-Lancaster, reminds Pennsylvania motorboat owners that the Pennsylvania Fish Com mission is now handling registrations instead of the Department of Revenue as m previous years. Wenger said the address to which renewal application requests should be returned is Fish Commission, P.O. Box 1852, Harrisburg, Pa. 17120. Boat owners are also reminded that the law requires notification of change of address within 15 days Wenger said validated registration cards and decals will be mailed in late January and may be used upon receipt. The 1977 registration cards are in valid after March 31,1978. “If you have just bought a boat and have not registered it as of yet, you must im mediately apply for a registration form at the Fish Commission or purchase one at any boating store that carries boat registration forms if you wish to take to the waterways when the weather will permit,” he added. ■ i * have a nice weekend... Pennsylvanians deserve better than ‘crime and high taxes,’ Watson charges. “We must have a Con stitutional limit on State spending, a mandated limit on budget increases. Business taxes continue to rise and are now the second highest in the Nation. The business climate in Penn sylvania is horrendous and when business fails to ex pand or moves out, we lose jobs,” he said, “Pennsylvania has been brought to the shadow of mediocrity and disrespect by inept and dishonest politicians. It is time for Pennsylvanians to become activists for good govern ment in our own interests.” NO. 11N CLEAN EQUIPMENT Location: 1 mile southwest of Rte. 422 and Rte. 501 Junction on Wenger’s Farm Machinery lot in Myerstown, Pa., approx. 25 miles north of Lancaster, approx. 25 miles east of Harrisburg, approx. 25 miles west of Reading.
