Co., Fort Atkinson, Wis. Stacking manure for twice a year spreading ends Winter runoff to help farmers meet federal regulations on pollution control. The flat-bed return trough of the stacker eliminates manure buildup under the elevator. The stacker is available in 36 foot, 45 foot, and 50 foot lengths. Heat-treated, extra heavy- duty chain moves scrapers 23’ per minute. The 2 inch or 3 inch high scrapers move manure up the stacker to drop it into a storage basin with picket dam. A picket dam permits rain water to ran off into a detention pond to ’ evaporize. A concrete floor in the basin makes it easy to handle the manure “as is” with an end loader. The stacker, made up of one-piece galvanized steel trough sections, is supported by a concrete-anchored tripod of 4 inch diameter steel tube. It is held level bv double sets of adjustable V* inch diameter steel guy rods, not cables. The stacker can be added to an existing system or LLOYD E. KREIOER CO. R.D. 9 1,2V4 mf.
