Frey wins Manheim Community Fair sheep show ByKENDACEBORRY MANHEIM - Tim Frey, Washington Boro Rl, showed his 110 pound Suffolk crossbred market lamb to be named grand champion of the Manheim Community Farm Show October 6. The sophomore from Penn Manor High School is in his second year of FFA and had earlier in the afternoon had the same lamb named the champion fat sale lamb, with the lamb to be sold at the farm show sale. The reserve champion market lamb was also from the fat sale lamb class, beina an 88 pound home raised Suffolk, exhibited by Duane Hernley. An Elizabethtown High School junior, the 15 year old youth is in his third year of FFA work. He also showed the champion pen of three lambs, which were Suffolks. In the showmanship and fitting classes, the junior first place winner was Gerald Rohrer, Quarryville Rl. Senior top winner in that contest went to Donna Stoltzfus, Quarryville R 3 Judge for the sheep show at the Manheim Fair was Mark Gould, vocational agriculture teacher at Solanco High School.
