Approximately two weeks ago, Ms. Temple sent out a plea for farmers to contact her to sell their produce off the back of their trucks in Philadelphia. “We still need more far mers,” she told Lancaster Fanning this week. “If we don’t get -Pennsylvania farmers, we’ll have to try growers from New Jersey.” The tailgate markets will be held on a regular basis every Friday or Saturday and will be located close to Interstates 76 and 95.
