July 9. 2) Queens chosen for Red Rose Beef and Sheep Club Not queens, but worthy of recognition nonetheless, were these girls who were nominees for queens of the Red Rose Beef and Sheep Club. Sitting are junior queen contenders Darlene LANCASTER - The Red Rose Beef and Sheep Club has two new first ladies to reign over junior and senior divisions of the club. They are Kim Weaver, senior queen, and Crystal Meek, junior queen. The selections were a feature of a regular monthly meeting held here on Wednesday at the Farm and Home Center. Both of the girls will represent the Red Rose Beef and Sheep Club for County-wide 4-H queen honors in a contest to be held later this Summer. This year’s senior queen, Miss Weaver, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Weaver of Mechanic Grove. She competed for the title against six other club members. A student at Solanco High School with a long list of activities and achievements in 4-H, school and church, Miss Weaver stepped up as senior queen from her previous title of junior queen. She received that honor a year ago and relinquished it Wednesday night when Crystal Meek became the new junior queen. Miss Meek is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LOW INITIAL COST. FAST EASY ERECTION. Judging for queen honors was based on personality, a talk presentation, poise, and a response to an impromptu question.
