The Farm Women enthusiastically adopted the idea and visited the center on April 26 with a delivery of 22 blankets. Each of the 65 three, four, and five year olds has his own cot, complete with Horticulture library opened KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. - Longwood Gardens, here has opened its horticultural library to the public for research and reference. Its hours will be from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays throughout the year, ex cluding holidays. The public will be admitted for one day upon the payment of the $2.00 admission fee to the gardens and an additional $2.00 ad mission fee to the library. Those who wish to use the library for more prolonged study or research may purchase a $lO.OO Neighbor Pass to the gardens and a $lO.OO Library Pass to the library, both entitling their sheets and the colorful quilts, for use during the required afternoon rest period. The 20 members of Group 2 work on the blankets in snatches of their spare time at home, using up scraps of material salvaged from other sewing projects.
