Red Lion Grange announces coming events RED LION, Pa. - Easter was observed at the April 2 meeting of the Red Lion Grange. Viola Leibhart, women’s activity chairman, an nounced that a rummage sale will be held on April 13 and 14 in the basement of The Hub store in York. The Red lion Grange will hold a “Special Activites” Day on June 4, with an auction, soup and sandwich sale, and a bake sale, all beginning at 10 a.m. Anyone wishing to donate articles for the Auction, or have an article sold on consignment, should contact a Grange member. April is designated “Youth Month” in the Grange, with each subor dinate Grange throughout Pennsylvania asked to hold a youth night in honor of its younger members. On April 22, the younger members of York-Adams counties will hold a youth exchange program at Walker Grange, Juniata County. The York-Adams Pomona Grange No. 40, will hold their annual legislative banquet on April 23, at Valley Grange hall, Lewisberry, beginning at 6 p.m. The public is in vited. Land use - meeting topic LEBANON, Pa. - The last in a series of Lebanon County land use meetings will be held on April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, here. Sponsored by the Lebanon County Ex tension Service and the League of Women Voters, the meeting will acquaint those attending with land use alternatives. Specifically, the topic of the various techniques for the preser vation of agriculture related land will be discussed after which a land use question naire will be filled out.
