Kratz, Souderton, Pa., dairy farmer reported on Inter- State’s membership relations committee which he chairs. The new chairman of the 6 group graduated with honors^ from the Pennsylvania State University in 1963. The son of Freda and the late Edward Shade, he operates a 50 head Holstein herd with an average milk production of 18,000 pounds per cow with about 650 pounds butterfat. He is a member of the Dairy Shrine Club and is an ASCS committeeman. He was selected the third place finalist in the Pennsylvania Jaycees Outstanding Young Fanners contest in 1973. Inter-State’s Young Cooperators will hold their annual contest June 23 and 24 at the Hunt Valley Inn, Hunt Valley, Md. At the two-day program they will Join in the Pennmarva Young Cooperator Program which also includes represen- w tatives from Maryland Cooperative Milk Producers; Maryland- Virglnia Milk Producers Assn.; Capitol .Milk Producers Cooperative; and Lehigh Valley Cooperative Fanners.
