His stock descends from the storied Earl Marshall strain. Most of the animals are sold for breeding purposes except for the bull culls which are fed out for beef. He grows 300 acres of no-till corn, mostly Agway hybrids, and 250 acres of clear-seeded alfalfa, the seed also supplied by Agway. Fields and pastures are limed and fertilized by Agway on a regular basis. Only one commercial supplement is used on Big Brook Farms.
