Livestock market and auction news # Feb. 10,1977 Weekly 51 - Cattle - Compared with the previous weeks dose - Closing prices on Slaughter Steers and Heifers were steady to 25 cents higher. Cows were mostly steady, and bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Four day receipts 14,300 as compared 12,300 previous week and 17,100 a year ago. As has been the case the past several weeks, the fed cattle trade followed a rather uneven pattern during the trading period. Prices were forced down ward on the opening session, but fully recovered the decline on later days.
