The trespass law, part of the Crimes Code, gives lan downers greater protection and a violation carries far more severe penalties than previously. This may serve the in terests of landowners and responsible hunters, fishermen, and sportsmen while protecting both against the acts of irresponsible trespass. A person commits a trespass offense when, knowing he is not privileged to do so, he enters or remains on private property on which notice against trespass is given by: actual communication by the landowner to the intruder; posting by the landowner in a manner likely to come to the attention of the intruder; or fencing or other enclosure of the property designed to exclude intruders. Trepass violations carry greater penalties under the Crimes Code than the old trespass law. Details of the new law can be found in Section 3503 Criminal Trespass which is part of the new Crimes Code. 10,000 cows added HARRISBURG - Milk seven per cent from a year production in Pennsylvania ago. during the first nine months United States milk of 1976 totaled 5,685 million "production during me first pounds compared to 5,420 nine months of 1976 totaled million pounds during the 91,774 million pounds, an corresponding period in 1975. increase of 4.1 per cent from Average production per cow the same period last year during the first nine months and 3.5 per cent above the of 1976 was 891 pounds same period in 1974. compared with 861 pounds a Nationally, feeding of year ago.
