*$ 64 Farmmg Saturday, Nov. 27yi&y&- : - Lamb and wool queen chosen HARRISBURG—Debbie Black, 18, of Avella, Washington County, was crowned the 1976 Pennsylvania Lamb and Wool Queen earlier this month during festivities at the 20th Keystone International-Livestock Exposition at the Farm Show Com plex. Crowning Debbie, above left, ip the. 1975 Queen, Julie Borst from Cumberland County. Debbie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Black, Avella R 2, is a senior at Avella High School. Runner-up among the contestants was Ruth Ann Osman, the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Osman, from Harrisburg. Ruth Ann is currently enrolled at Harrisburg Area Community College during her senior year at Lower Dauphin High School. The Lamb and Wool Queen Contest is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Sheep and Wool Growers Association. As this year’s reigning queen, Debbie will represent the association throughout the year in an attempt to promote the sale of wool and lamb in the commonwealth.
