Nov. 6, 1976 62 Eastern Milk Producers call for floor under Class I price SYRACUSE, N.Y. - At its annual fall meeting on Oc tober 27, here, over 200 delegates, representing 7500 dairy fanner members of Eastern Milk Producers Cooperative, passed a resolution calling for the establishment of a “floor” under Class 1 (fluid) milk prices. This action was taken in an effort to stabilize sagging prices payable to dairymen this Winter and to offset further inflationary costs of production.
