Oct 9. 1976 12 Commission tours Md. counties ANNAPOLIS, Md - The Maryland Agricultural Commission will tour the dairy and fruit heartland of Maryland October 14 and cap the day with a public meeting to discuss agricultural concerns with farmers from Washington, Frederick, and Carroll counties The tour as outlined by commission chairman William Klemwachter ts as follows: leave Maryland Artificial Breeders Co-op (Sire Power) at 8 a.m.; visit Way of Truth Industries, Hagerstown, dairy operation; visit W.D. Bromley & Son fruit operation near Smiths burg; visit Ross Smith, Jr. turkey production operation at Graceham; and visit the Harold Long dairy farm near Thurmont. The tour will be completed by an inspection of the Maryland Artificial Breeding Cokip’s operations in the early afternoon followed by a business meeting session of the commission. At 7:30 p.m. the com mission will then host an open public meeting at the Holiday Inn, on Patrick St., Frederick.
