This year was the first time she had a grand champion at this show, although she’s won a number of ribbons at county and district events. Darlene McConaugbey, 13, Smicksburg Rl, won the junior championship with “Huntsdale Nancy’s Irene,” a senior yearling. The heifer’s sire is “Nancy’s Sleeping Advancer.” A 4-H member the past four years, Darlene is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mc- Conaughey, Jr. She was the master fitter and showman champion for the breed. Cynthia Waltemyer, 15, Collegeville R 2, showed the reserve junior champion, “Walebe Quicksilver Laurel,” a senior yearling. The sire is “S.S.
