On August 28, the needlework contest entries will be judged at the hall. The social committee will sell refreshments at the sale in Virginville on August 13. The youth will have a swimming party at the home of George Bechtle on August 26. The slow pitch team from Berks County won their game against Montgomery County, and now will play against Lancaster County on August 21. The banner contest will be judged at the Pomona Grange meeting. The county youth will have a picnic on August 29 at Virginville Grange 4 - 9 p.m. Help is needed for the county youth drill team.
