The Caernarvon Farm Dispersal was held June 28 under a large 40’ x 100’ tent which was full of people from 20 different states. The 170 head of registered Holsteins were sold and delivered to 14 states and Canada. Owner was Andrew Stoltzfus. Included in the sale were 30 pairs of cows - The top priced cow sold for $BOOO and was a daughter of Caer narvon Dutchoe who was chosen over her dam. She was bought by Carnation Farms of Carnation, Washington. The second high cow was a Chief daughter and sold for $6600. The average price was $1442. Sale held at Morgantown, Pa. The 105 head averaged $641 with the top cow, a purebred, springer, bringing $1675. A small herd averaged $503.
