In the corn silage contest,
Bill Fisher took first place
with a harvest of 14,950
pounds of TON per acre.
Second was Eugene Eberly,
New Holland Rl with 14,206
pounds; and third Earl
Weaver, New Holland Rl
with 13,770 pounds.
The dairy achievement
award was presented to
Andrew Stoltzfus.
In the new varieties com
contest, Earl Weaver and
Bill Fisher placed first and
second, respectively.
Weaver’s yield of 157.8
bushels placed 5.1 bushels
