A public sale of 54 head of
dairy cows and faun
machinery was sold for
Alvin Brubidcer of Robesonia
on Feb. 24th as he is moving
to Missouri.
A grade cow sold for 11200,
one for $lOOO, and another for
$llOO. The average price was
$7OO. An antique two-piece
latch sold for $5O.
Auctioneers were Horning
and Homing of Fleetwood.
A public sale of real estate
and farming implements
were sold Feb. 27 for the J.
A. Hanks, Estate and held
south of Buck.
The 67 acre farm was sold
to Amos Hess, Rl, Holtwood
for $lBB,OOO. Com brought $7O
per ton, A.C. mower $5OO and
1969 Dodge car $1550 and 35’
ensilage in 14’ silo for $2500.

public auction Feb 28, on the
farm of J. Lloyd Bomberger,
north of Lititz. One tractor
sold for $2420 and the other
for $2410.

planter $2945, J.D. mower
$5lO, baler $4OO, seed drill
$505, spring harrow $230,
cultipacker $305, disc harrow
$5OO, mower $525, two
bottom plow $365, mounted
gravity com bin $5OO, and
flat wagon $285. Antiques
included wooden shaking
fork $39 and hand-powered
washing machine $lOO. An old
Volkswagen was sold for
$485.

A public sale of Dairy
Cows and Farm Machinery
was held Feb. 28 by Melvin
R. Stoltzfus of Quarryville.
The cow prices ranged
from $6OO to $1460. Other
items were A.C.-WD No. 45
tractor $1460, hay wagon,
$525, J.D. Grain Drill $1650,
N.H. Hay rake $600,16’ silo
unloader $lO6O, and Com $65
per ton.

A public sale of Farm
Equipment, Woodland and
Antiques was sold Feb. 28 by
Ammon S. Nolt near
Churchtown, Pa.
The 6 acres of woodland
sold for $7900. There was a
large attendance.
