Department of Agriculture (USDA) proposed new disease sur veillance measures to protect UiJ. poultry from <Uaeasee that could be in-, trodoced into the country through the importation of poultry and hatching eggs. Changes in the federal import regulations proposed by USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) include the following: - Eggs imported for hat ching purposes, when shipped from countries in which exotic Newcastle disease exists, must be found free of disease under an APHIS-approved sur veillance system; or they must be batched and brooded in the United States The Boots and Saddles 4-H Horae and Pony Club held its July meeting at the borne of Tammy and Mike Rfaineer.
