Heifers closed weak to 50 cents lower, cows mostly steady, some late sales 25-50 cents lower. Bulls strong to 1.00 higher. FOUR DAY RECEIPTS 16,200 as compared 18,200 previous week and 16,000 a year ago. Steers ap proximately 42 percent of week total heifers 30 percent, cows 15 percent and feeders for Friday auction 11 per cent. Moderate marketings sufficient to largely offset rbearish effects of a dull carcass trade forepart of week but live prices forced downward at midweek.
