Purpose of the convention is to elect officers and adopt policies for 1975. The convention theme is “PFA - Serving Farmers All-Ways.” PFA has more than 19,000 family members and is affiliated with 52 county units. The state group is affiliated with the American Farm Bureau Federation, the largest general farm organization in the world. The convention officially opens Sunday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. with the traditional vespers services with the Rev. Delbert E. Jolley, D.D., pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana, Pa. as speaker. Abshire, account executive of General Tire and Rubber Co., will be the speaker at the annual meeting of the PFA Supply Company, and affiliate company of the farm group.
