Construction Inspectors The State Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for construction inspectors and supervisors U.S. Assumes Meat Records The federal government Thursday took over the registration, record keeping and other compliance ac tivities in Pennsylvania for the U.S. Meat and Poultry Inspection program, a spokesman said. The action means that all meat-and-poultry related industries, even if they have been registered with the state, now must register with the Agriculture Department. USDA took over the in spection activities in Penn sylvania for slaughtering and processing plants in mid 1972. Department officials said only that the takeover of record keeping activities, “had been under discussion with state officials for some time.” Applications in various state agencies.
