Herr & Bro., Quarryville, announced this week that the two farm equipment companies have formed a new enterprise to be called Lancaster Equipment Center, Inc. The new firm will operate under that name at the former Kinzer Equipment location on Route 30 East. The A. L. Herr & Bro. store in Quarryville will continue to operate under the A. L. Herr & Bro. name. Lancaster Equipment Co. will be a J. I. Case fran chise, and company spokesman James E. B. Zeger said they expect a Dase shipment in the near Future. Other lines handled by the new company will include New Idea, Kubota, Lamco, General Trailers and a number of short lines. Not all state civil jobs require a written examination. For some jobs the “examination” may consist of an oral examination, a rating of the applicant’s education and experience, or a combination of these two.
