Fischer Promoted at Strasburg Bank Francis J. Fischer, Jr. has been named assistant vice president, Installment Loan Department, of The First National Bank of Strasburg. The appointment was announced by Donald H. Roffecker, executive vice president of the bank. Before assuming his new post, Fischer was a loan officer of the bank. He had also served as an administrative assistant and an adjustor. Prior to joining The First National Bank of Strasburg, the new assistant vice president was employed by the G.A.C. Corporation in Lancaster. The Lancaster Catholic High School graduate attended Kutz town State College and completed a Pennsylvania School of Banking program at Bucknell University. He is a member of the American Institute of Banking and has taken several A.I.S. courses, including Principles of Banking, Installment Credit and Commercial Law. Fischer, his wife, Elaine, and two children reside in Lancaster.
