PROFITS!
Here’s a sure way to build extra profits in your hog operation. Knock
out two major causes of high production costs . . . worms and
disease-causing germs.
Worm hogs with TRAMISOL in feed!
TRAMiSOL levamisole is all the wormer you will ever need. It knocks
out all major species of stomach, intestinal and lungworms. No
other wormer hits all three types.
Keep hogs healthy with feeds containing AUREO S • P 250.
AUREO S-P 250 aids in the prevention of bacterial enteritis (scours)
and cervical abscesses. Helps maintain weight gains in pigs with
atrophic rhinitis. Improve weight gains and feed efficiency in pigs
up to 75 pounds.
This season use the WORM’N GERM Program for bigger hog profits.
See your feed supplier for details on this profit-making program.

classes Pennsylvanians were
acclaimed premier exhibitors in
six of the seven breeds with
Richard P. Sholley, Jonestown,
Lebanon County, copping the
accolade for both the Poland
China and Spotted Swine breeds.
Sholley also showed the cham
pion boar in these two breeds.
Another big winner in the ‘72
Expo was Reno H. Thomas, a
mid-state farmer-legislator who
grabbed all of the top prizes for
Yorkshire and breeding stock.
The Beavertown, Snyder County,
pork producer also took the grand
championship in the live judging
of market-ready hogs.
The revised schedule of events
for the 1973 show, November 8-13,
will have all of the swine
breeding classes showing on
Friday and Saturday in the small
arena. The barrows competition
will continue to be held Sunday
and Monday with the truckload
judging first followed by the
individual classes.
Nearly half of the barrows in
the live judging will be im
mediately shipped to a nearby
slaughterhouse and meat experts
will make an evaluation of the
carcass. Grand championship of
the on-foot (live) classes is good
for $5O and a plaque. Grand
championship of the on-rail
judging is worth $l,OOO and a
plaque.

Growing Old?
There are many virtues in grow
