While the older gasoline, kerosene and alcohol torches are still around, the propane torch is fast replacing them. The propane torch consists of a burner unit mounted on a metal fuel cylinder smaller than a quart bottle. The cylin der contains propane gas un der pressure which has turned it into a liquid. As it is re leased as a gas, it expands 400 times. Size of the flame is con trolled with a knob on the burner head. Air mixture is controlled automatically Screwing on the burner head automatically opens the tank although the gas doesn’t start to flow until you open the valve. •more MILK* MOM mT • MORE MOW WITH MADISON SILOS Div Chromalloy American Corp 1070 Steinmetz Rd Ephrata.Penna. 17522 Ph. 733-1206 LOCAL DEALERS Frank Snyder Akron Caleb Wenger Quarry ville Landis Bros Inc.
