Wilson as market administrator of the New York-New Jersey Milk Marketing Area was announced recently. He succeeds Dr. Anson J. Pollard who retires June 30. Dr. Pollard had been appointed market administrator of Order 2 in September 1965 succeeding Dr. C. J. Blandford. The appointment of Wilson, effective July 1, was made jointly by the Agricultural Marketing Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture, the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and the New Jersey Division of Dairy Industry. Wilson joined the staff of the market administrator in Sep tember 1958 as an economist. In 1966 he was appointed assistant to the market administrator and promoted to assistant market administrator in 1970.
