Courses include subjects that cut across the usual departmental boundaries, such as .pollution of environmental systems, ecology of plant production, legal aspects of resource management, and case studies in ecosystem management Course work from several disciplines is integrated into a coherent study of the improved use and management of natural resources, Dr. Pasto expalins. Ten special courses were developed to expand, amplify, and provide in-depth training in the management of en vironmental problems The first graduates will be qualified to work with regulatory agencies at the federal, state, county, or municipal level. Because of constraints being imposed upon industry for en vironmental pollution, industry may well become a key source of employment for such graduates.
