26—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, January 27, 1973 Fulton Grange Continues Scout Troop Sponsorship Fulton Grange 66 met in regular session at the Grange Hall at Oakryn January 22 with the Master Richard Holloway presiding. A $5O donation was voted to the Farm & Home Foundation of Lancaster County. The Grange will again sponsor Boy Scout Troop 330. Richard Nye is the Grange Scout representative Thomas Petrie, Scout Master, will be assisted by E Ray Sawyer and Charles Tindall Jr They will reorganize the troop in February The Women’s Activities committee will serve refresh ments for a meeting at the Grange Hall Feb 8 They are temporarily out of the Pa State Grange cookbooks but should be able to supply more the latter part of March when more books are printed Ten thousand cook books have been sold over the state within the past three months Clifford Holloway Jr gave a report on the Southern Lancaster Co Family Health Center and said an auxiliary to the General Hospital may be formed in the southern part of the county to especially assist the health center in Quarryville Mrs J Stanley Stauffer Jr presented the program which featured a candy making demonstration by Mrs. Richard Lefever. It was a fun thing for Subordinate and Junior Grange members who pulled taffy. Clifford Holloway 111 and Miss Peggy Galbreath modeled yesteryear clothing which was exhibited by Mrs. Freda Huber and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mc- Sparran The contents of the guessing box were guessed by Mrs. Richard Lefever. There were 100 pink birthday candles in it. There will be another box with something in it to guess at the next meeting February 12. This is a reminder of the centennial celebration of the Pa State Grange this year The ladies are to bring a dessert box for two people to the next meeting.
