Jeffrey has exhibited dairy cattle at the Lebanon Community Fair, Southeastern Regional Dairy Show, the Pa Junior Dairy Show, and judged dairy cattle at Penn State He has also judged beef 500 Running Pump Road Jeffrey Werner Northern Lebanon FFA cattle Jeffrey has been a member of the first-place parliamentary procedure team, County public speaking winner on soil con servation, a winner in several tractor driving contests, won awards in County corn contests, and placed in land judging. He was a recipient of the Lebanon County Farmer degree. He was a County delegate at the Penn State FFA summer convention, and also attended the National Convention. His projects now include eight dairy animals, four beef animals, five acre of wheat, five acres of barley and 10 acres of field com. He has served as assistant sentinel, assistant reporter and is now Chapter vice-president as well as County sentinel. He is a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Calvin Hostetler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hostetler, Ann ville, is serving as secretary of the Lebanon County FFA Chapter and is president of the Little Dutchman FFA Chapter at Annville-Cleona High School. He placed third in County competition and received a silver award for State dairy judging. He received the Greenhand Degree, the Chapter Farmer Degree, and the County Farmer Degree. He has served on various committees, including the awards and banquet com mittees. He attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City. He has been a member of the National Honor Society for three years and has been elected president of the Annville-Cleona Chapter. He plans on continuing in farming. Richard Kurtz, 18 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Kurtz, Elverson RDI, graduated from Twin Valley High School last spring. He is currently employed by his father, owner of Kurtz' Fish Hatchery. Richard rents two quarter-acre ponds from his father and raises fathead minnows for his project. Each of these ponds is capable of producing over 20,000 minnows each year. Richard served the Twin Valley FFA Chapter as reporter in both his junior and senior year and as chaplain his sophomore year. He was a member of the cross-country team for four years, the junior varsity and varisty basketball teams for four years, and the track team for three years. He is chaplain of the Lebanon County FFA Chapter and vice-president of the local Chapter at Eastern Lebanon High School. Daniel was a member of the State FFA band for four years. He has served as Chapter assistant treasurer and was president of the parliamentary procedure team. He expanded his farming n >'>4, * Lancaster, Pa. program each year. As a senior, his farming program consisted of eight acres of tomatoes, one acre of potatoes, seven acre of carrots, 30 acres of corn, five acres of cucumbers, five acres of alfala, eight acres of barley, five acres of wheat and seven acres of pumpkins, farming a total of 76 acres. He has one sow and 12 feeder pigs. In school, he is building an elevator. George Manbeck Jr is a senior at Conrad Wiser High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Manbeck Sr, Womelsdorf RDI. This year George is serving as vice-president of the Conrad Weiser FFA and is Chapter delegate to the Berks County FFA. His FFA experience in cludes serving a term as Chapter reporter and serving on numerous committees. George has received the Greenhand Degree, Chapter Degree, and the Berks County Degree. He was also named the Star Chapter Greenhand.
