The Rev. and Mrs. Earl Ziegler, Quarryville, presented a musical narrative illustrating three phases of life for a woman. The Rev. Mr. Ziegler is pastor of the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, Quarryville. The skits presented highlights in the life of a woman as a girl in her youth, the middle years of motherhood, and the mature, but never old, woman. Eleven members attended the Spring Rally at Seven Springs in Somerset County for Farm Women of Pennsylvania. The next meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. May 3} at Elen’s School of Charm and Self Im provement, 131 East Chestnut Street, Lancaster. Society 25 Farm Women Society 25 members entertained Society 8 members at a covered dish luncheon at the Conestoga Methodist Church. Trooper Edward Rowlands, representing Traffic Safety Education, presented a film, “Anatomy of an Accident” and spoke on the three C’s of defensive driving. The business meeting was conducted by Mrs. John Metz, president. Devotions were led by Mrs Melvin Groff, Lancaster RD6. A bake sale was held this week at Two Guys. Members of Society 25 will be guests of Society 11 at noon May 25 at Mechanics Grove Church. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Richard Gregory, Conestoga, on June 10. Mrs. Howard Cramer, Mar hcville, will show and tell the Society about Ceramics. Society 27 Farm Women Society 27 en joyed a bus trip Tuesday to Longwood Gardens and the Winterthur Museum. There were 29 members showing their horses and ponies. Songs were led by Warren Shmuck. The meeting was opened by the president, Linda Witmer. The Club pledge was recited. Roll was taken and reports given about animals. Mr Goretzke gave information on Landiman, which some members have chosen. He gave his ideas on which they can work. Later the Club divided into groups and discussed some things on projects. Entertainment, in the form of games, skits, readings and singing, was provided by each seasons group. During the businesss portion of the meeting Mrs. Eugene Wenger was installed as a new member.
